Removes and corrects improper treatment.
Unfortunately, with a rise of under-qualified and inexperienced practitioners, there has been an increase in more people receiving unacceptable and improper treatments. Therefore, at Luxton Aesthetics, with our highly qualified practitioners, we are offering bespoke correctional treatments.
We only use the highest quality, luxury products and the latest techniques and technologies, so our bespoke correctional treatments will provide you with results that you are happy and confident with.
When correcting dermal filler we don’t generally advise adding more filler to an area that requires correction, as any previous treatment could compromise any additional procedures we carry out to the same area. This is because we cannot guarantee what product has been used, at what depth the product has been injected, and how much the previous practitioner has used. Therefore, in most cases, in order to get the best results, the existing product needs to be dissolved first in order to start again on a blank canvas.
To dissolve hyaluronic acid fillers, hyaluronidase is used. It is an enzyme which is naturally found in the body that can break down hyaluronic acid. When hyluronidase is injected, it immediately starts to dissolve the filler and causes the area to swell. The area is massaged and pressure is applied to help keep swelling to a minimum. Hyaluronidase can be injected into all areas of the face, hands and decolletage.
On the rare occasion, there may be a way of carrying out slight alterations that drastically improve the overall results without having to dissolve the filler.
All options will be discussed during the consultation and a full medical history will be taken prior to treatment.

Correctional botox work can be carried out to any area that has received previous Botox treatment. Corrections are normally required when the product has been injected incorrectly, causing muscle drooping and/or asymmetry. Small alterations can often be carried out to treat asymmetry, however before any botox correctional treatment, a consultation would be carried out to assess the area and discuss a plan of care.
Price is dependent on the area(s) treated.
Every appointment includes a full consultation, even if you are a returning patient. This is to discuss the treatment and any concerns, as well as to go through the plan of care and complete and sign the consent form.
The procedure can either be completed after the consultation, or at a later date. All consultations are free of charge and there is no obligation to go ahead with the treatment on the day.
